About the event
As the weather cools, we will be foraging for Fall herbal goodness.
In this class we will identify bioregional plants, what parts are most beneficial and how they assist us through the transitioning months of Autumn - both nutritionally and medicinally.
The tenants of ethical wild harvesting will also be presented for safety, conservation and sustainability.
Ever wonder why they convinced us that healing plants are weeds? Join us as we explore the local abundance of backyard food and herbs to support your health and wellness.
Your teacher: Leesalyn Koehler, Bastrop TX
Leesalyn has been digging in the earth and communing with nature sprites for over four decades, while also offering her services as a health & wellness educator in the greater Austin area since 2001.
