About the event
Workshop Details:
As a general contractor Kindra is focused on the production of a structure. But occasionally the opportunity presents itself to open up a jobsite as a place of learning and connection.
In our current project we have exactly that: a modest cottage/art studio/guest house set in the beautiful permaculture inspired gardens of Jacqueline May.
We have reserved a small section of the bale walls for workshop participants to gain hands on experience with setting bales and applying the initial coats of clay plaster. Other sections of the building will provide discussion opportunities for cob, lime plaster, electrical and plumbing interface with bales.
The main house provides opportunities to see fully finished out cob, bales and earth floor.
It will be a full day of hands on learning and discussion!
