What began as an empty lot has evolved into a vibrant ecosystem, driven by his dedication to preserving green space and fostering sustainability.

David believes in caring for the land responsibly, providing nutritious, locally-grown food for the restaurant and the wider community. He also shares his passion for growing food, encouraging others to connect with the land and helping build a sense of community that reaches beyond Bastrop, all rooted in the principles of sustainability and healthy living.
