Our First Saturday Farm Day is all for the kids day! Come on out for a fun filled day of activities, adventure, wonders, and crafts.
Our incubator will be pipping with baby chicks and hope to catch some little ones still emerging from their shells.
We will be harvesting seeds from last years luffa and okra pods to plant in small pots to take home to grow your own. This activity will include an informational about soil, compost, fertilization, hydration and sun exposure.
Field games will be set up for badminton and croquet or relax in the hammock and tree swing.
Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy beneath the shade of the trees and we will provide the rest.
After lunch we will take a nature walk through the woods to identify local plants for food and medicine. Then close out the afternoon with a fun clay creations activity from our local soil.
